Einar Oftedal

Einar Oftedal is a cybersecurity executive, founder, investor, and operator with extensive experience helping investors and leadership teams navigate growth, transformation, and technology-driven value creation. Known for building high-performing organizations and strong industry communities, he has spent his career operating at the intersection of cybersecurity, software, and strategic execution.

Oftedal founded and led Crosspoint Labs, the technical arm of Crosspoint Capital, where he advised investment teams and portfolio companies across the full investment lifecycle, including technical diligence, product strategy, operational transformation, and growth acceleration. At RSA Conference, he continued driving innovation initiatives and strategic programs across the global cybersecurity ecosystem.

Earlier in his career, Oftedal held leadership positions at Symantec, NortonLifeLock, and Blue Coat Systems, where he scaled global engineering, research, and security organizations while helping develop and commercialize emerging technologies.

He also played a central role in strengthening Norway’s national cybersecurity capabilities through work with the Norwegian National Security Authority and in helping establish Norway’s National Cyber Security Center, formerly NorCERT.

Oftedal brings deep experience in mergers and acquisitions from both investor and operator perspectives, with a particular focus on aligning technology strategy, product execution, and operational improvement with long-term enterprise value creation.

Today, he focuses on helping investors and enterprises navigate the rapidly evolving intersection of AI, cybersecurity, and software engineering, turning emerging technology shifts into measurable business outcomes.
